Journey (1) Toba-Brastagi-Medan

Lake Toba

After 12 hours, finally Toba Lake is on the eyes. It's amazing view..beautiful..All I can say was Subhanallah....The lake which sized bigger than Singapore was beautifully undescription with thought.

This lake is in the edge of Parapat City.
After having late breakfast (almost 9 tough), we decided to cross the lake to the samosir island. We were using speed boat cost Rp.350K (quite expensive..), before went to Samosir, we stopped by at the Batu gantung, which a stone look like a girl who according to history, intended to jump to the lake since she got forced to marry someone who she didn't like (love will always sacrifice something). The boat journey was extremely fun, eventhough it made me "deg2an" because there were no safety equipment on that boat (geez...chevron way skaleee)..but it was fun. At samosir, we went to cemetery of the king of samosir..then we bought some handicrafts, like T-shirt, keychain, bracelet, etc. After having exhausting trip at samosir, we went back to parapat. then continue to Brastagi...

Brastagi
This city similar to Puncak in West Java..City was surrounded by mountain..tenang, damai, dan dingin!!!!!......... Sibayak mountain was so beautiful...we stayed one night in a cottage out of city..In the morning, before continue to Medan, we (actually my friends, coz I had bad experience in riding a horse) tried to ride a horse..dewi n milla were riding horses while the others ride a delman.....me? still enjoy being an amateur photographer..hehehehe..

Medan

The third biggest city in Indonesia.....typically look likes Jakarta...traffic jam everywhere..quite semerawut lah....porky store everywhere...made us thought..beli makanan halal dimana ya????

In Medan, we went to Maimun Palace, istana yang sangat tak terawat... salah satu kebiasaan bangsa indonesia yang kurang mengahrgai sejarah bangsanya.....Then we went to Mall!! numpak becak khas medan euy.. Then we went around the city, jepret sana jepret sini...pray at Masjid Raya Medan....After having dinner, we went back to Duri....where life should move on....hehehee................................
